About the Site Welcome to Moviefanprincess.com, an English language website devoted to Connie Chan, one of Hong Kong cinema’s most beloved and prolific actresses. Although she made more than 200 films and was the biggest star of her day, she is still little known outside the Chinese community. The fact that only a handful of her films are available with English subtitles further hinders the recognition she deserves. It would be nice to see properly restored and subtitled DVD releases of Connie Chan’s films, but this is unlikely to happen anytime soon. Hopefully this website will encourage you to take a leap into the unsubtitled depths of Cantonese cinema and sample the charm of Hong Kong’s brightest star.
